AFTER APPLYING GROUND AND JUMPING POWER TO SIGNAL WIRE THE STARTER WOULD JUST CLICK. AFTER REPLACING STARTER THERE ARE NO FURTHER STARTING ISSUES AT THIS TIME

PULLED CODES AND FOUND A P0300- RANDOM MISFIRE P0303- CYL 3 MISFIRE AND P0304 CYLINDER 4 MISFIRE, THERE WAS ALSO A P0455 FOR A LARGE EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM LARGE LEAK AND WILL LIKELY CAUSE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TO COME BACK ON DOWN THE ROAD. WHILE TEST DRIVING THE MISFIRE COUNTER FOR CYLINDER 3 AND 4 WAS STEADILY RAISING WHILE ACCELERATING. PULLED PLUGS AND INSPECTED, ALL PLUGS LOOKED GOOD, LIKE NEW. SWAPPED CYLINDER 3 AND 4 WITH CYL 1 AND 2 IGNITION COIL AND TEST DROVE AGAIN. THIS TIME THE MISFIRES CHANGED TO CYLINDER 1 AND 2 INDICATING 2 BAD IGNITION COILS. AFTER REPLACING COILS AND PERFORMING A 15 K DIRECT INJECTION OIL FLUSH AND AIR INDUCTION SERVICE THERE ARE NO MISFIRES AND IS RUNNING MUCH BETTER. THE FUEL TANK SHOULD BE FILLED AND RAN TO EMPTY FOR THE BEST POSSIBLE RESULTS WITH THE FUEL SYSTEM CLEANER.

FOUND MISFIRES IN CYLINDER 2 AND 4 CAUSING A ROUGH RUNNING CONDITION THE ENGINE WAS ALSO 2 QUARTS LOW ON OIL. THAT COULD BE THE CAUSE OF THE STALLING ISSUE ON ITS OWN. PULLED PLUGS AND CHECKED GAP AND CONDITION, THE PLUGS ARE DEFINITELY DUE FOR REPLACEMENT. ADJUSTED THE GAP ON ALL 4 PLUGS FROM 29 THOUSANDTHS TO .035 THOUSANDTHS OF AN INCH. AFTER RE INSTALLING AND RE CHECKING FOR A MISFIRE IT WAS ALMOST NOT NOTICEABLE, THERE WAS A LOUD CHAIN TYPE NOISE COMING FROM THE CRANK CASE AND IS LIKELY TIMING CHAIN RELATED AND IT IS PRETTY BAD, WILL LIKELY BREAK SOON BUT THE VALVE COVER WOULD HAVE TO BE REMOVED TO INSPECT FOR DAMAGE BEFORE PERFORMING REPAIR. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING ANY OTHER WORK DUE TO THE CHAIN NOISE , IF IT BREAKS IT WILL NEED AN ENGINE.
