CHECKED AMPERAGE DRAW FROM STARTER WHEN CRANKING/CHECK ALTERNATOR OUTPUT AT IDLE AND UNDER LOAD/TEST RESERVE AND CCA OF BATTERY. FOUND ALTERNATOR NOT CHARGING REPLACEMENT WAS IMMINENT. AFTER REPLACING THE ALTERNATOR AND FUSE IT WAS STILL NOT CHARGING. VERIFIED SIGNAL AT { BRN-RD} WIRE AND WAS GOOD. THE {VT} AND {BU-OG} WERE BOTH SENDING SIGNALS AS WELL FROM THE PCM AT THE MAIN CONNECTOR AT THE ALTERNATOR. VOLTAGE DROP TESTED POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE AND FOUND A 3.7 VOLT DROP FROM MAIN POWER TERMINAL AT ALTERNATOR TO POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE SOLIDIFYING THAT THERE IS A BREAK OR POOR CONNECTION AT SOME POINT IN THE CABLE. REMOVED ALL WIRE COVERINGS AND FOUND A BLOWN FUSIBLE LINK THAT SHOULD NOT BE REPAIRED. AFTER REPLACING CABLES AS AN ASSEMBLY THERE ARE NO FURTHER ISSUES WITH THE STARTING CHARGING SYSTEM AT THIS TIME.
